Competence and Capacity Development is our study focus for this month. In keeping with our mantra of taking practical steps to live out our message, the CODEF board has decided to embark on an in-house training on the following points of interest:
•Web design
•Content Marketing
•Content Creation
•Public Speaking
The resource institution- EDUFORTRESS AFRICA will anchor the training and their training courses on the topics available for CODEF Community.
Areas of Interest include;
•What is a website, blog, or web store?
•Why do you need one?
•The basic layout of a typical website
•Website user interface
•Introduction to domain names and hosting
•WordPress and other CMS
Installation, themes, and plugins
•Templates, pages, and menus
•Posts- words, pictures, and videos
•Finishing touches- social media, woocommerce, and blogging tips
Not to make it cumbersome, we will be starting with Website Design. The others will follow subsequently. It is a free training, the cost of which is borne by Champions of Destiny Foundation.
