Transferring Spiritual Resources to the Material World

Transferring spiritual resources to the material world
- To discern or recognise things spiritually
- To transfer your spiritual resources into the material world
Abraham’s blessing is real; it was transferred to Isaac and Jacob. That was the only thing Jacob inherited before he ran away. But the blessing brought blessings, that is, all the other material things he needed. So, if Abraham’s blessing is real, why is it not manifesting in my life? That is the question of many believers today. After this teaching, you will work it out in your life in the name of Jesus.
Eph 1:3
3 Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ.
2 Peter 1:1-3
3 His divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who called us to his own glory and excellence,
1 Cor 3
21 So don’t boast about following a particular human leader. For everything belongs to you—
whether Paul or Apollos or Peter, or the world, or life and death, or the present and the future. Everything belongs to you,
and you belong to Christ, and Christ belongs to God.
In part one, The Blessing of a Right Spiritual Perspective, I said capture the right perspective. That means having the right imagination. That is the first step.
- The beginning of transferring spiritual blessing into the material world is to be able to capture it in your imagination and conceive it in your mind as much and as clearly as possible. Imagination is intangible, it is itself a spiritual realm but it is the closest connection between you and the spiritual.
We existed in what we may call the mind of God or in the reality of God before we were made manifest on earth. Eph 1:4.
In Gen 1:2, the spirit of the Lord was moving, hovering or brooding – brooding means deeply or seriously thoughtful. Brooding like this gives you insight, better knowledge and understanding.
You have to conceive something until your thoughts become one with that thing and it becomes you, your word is also you. When you speak, you will mean what you say and say what you mean because you are speaking out of your essence, and the spirit will produce it.
When imagination produces effects in form of words, emotions and actions.
God helps your imagination and perspective through meditation, revelation, teachings, insight, a knowing in your spirit. E.g. Abram to Abraham,
Gen 15:4-5
4 Then the word of the Lord came to him: “This man will not be your heir, but a son who is your own flesh and blood will be your heir.” 5 He took him outside and said, “Look up at the sky and count the stars—if indeed you can count them.” Then he said to him, “So shall your offspring[a] be.”
When you want to create an imagination, you use words to tell a story. To make it stronger, you present images or pictures or videos.
What do you see? Jer 1:11
2. Faith Dimension:
Gen 15:6
Abram believed the Lord, and he credited it to him as righteousness.
Lk 1:45
And blessed is she that believed; for there shall be a fulfilment of the things which have been spoken to her from the Lord.
Heb 11:1
Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.
Faith always makes you do something towards the expectations. This makes faith to be seen as a substance
Mark 11
20 In the morning, as they went along, they saw the fig tree withered from the roots. 21 Peter remembered and said to Jesus, “Rabbi, look! The fig tree you cursed has withered!”
22 “Have faith in God,” Jesus answered. 23 “Truly[f] I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them. 24 Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. 25 And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive them, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins.” 26 But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father in heaven forgive your trespasses.”
3. Time dimension to the transfer:
Transferring things from the spiritual to the material world is a miracle. Miracle overrides time.
It can be instant Mark 11:24.
It can also take time for whatever reason.
Gen 21:5 Abraham was a hundred years old when his son Isaac was born to him. It took Abraham 15 yrs.
The revelation to Joseph and David took time to manifest.
We know that with God even if it takes time, it is not seen as a delay.
2 Pt 3
9 The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead, he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.
The promise can be for generations to come but by faith, you can start to enjoy the benefit
1 Pt 1:10-12
10 Concerning this salvation, the prophets, who spoke of the grace that was to come to you, searched intently and with the greatest care, 11 trying to find out the time and circumstances to which the Spirit of Christ in them was pointing when he predicted the sufferings of the Messiah and the glories that would follow. 12 It was revealed to them that they were not serving themselves but you, when they spoke of the things that have now been told you by those who have preached the gospel to you by the Holy Spirit sent from heaven. Even angels long to look into these things.
Abraham, David and Isaiah enjoyed the benefits of the Messiah before he was made manifest.
Therefore, have faith for the instant manifestation of the spiritual blessing you prayed into the material world. Then you will begin to benefit and enjoy all your spiritual benefits, even here and now.
In conclusion, imagination, faith and time are all captured in Habakkuk 2:2-3
Habakkuk 2
2 Then the Lord replied:
“Write down the revelation
and make it plain on tablets
so that a herald[b] may run with it.
3 For the revelation awaits an appointed time;
it speaks of the end
and will not prove false.
Though it linger, wait for it;
it[c] will certainly come
and will not delay.
4 “See, the enemy is puffed up;
his desires are not upright—
but the righteous person will live by his faith.
